I bought a rigid 7" handheld grinder to do my epoxy coat floor last week. It took entirely too long with that grinder. Ended up renting blastrac saw tec 10" electric grinder with diamond blade and vac. Too much dust without vac. 3 car garage took 4hrs. worth it for me. Epoxy coat came out...

Getting ready to put down epoxy coat and filled expansion joints with sikaflex. Grinded a small spot i missed earlier and result was concrete dust got onto the sikaflex (joint sealer). Wiped all joints. Will that still bond to the epoxy coat or do I need to remover sikaflex and do over. Thx.

After mixing part A and B normally it's to be poured on the floor and squeegied and then back rolled. What's the best way to apply to the vertical surface. brush? or roll? Where to pour after mixing?

I have approx. 66 linear ft. x 14'high stem wall in my garage. I've watched the disk on epoxy coat application,but I would like advice as to include stem wall in 10 x 12 section? or do stem wall completely first and then do floor in 10x 12 sections. Concerned about the stem wall slowing my...

Thanks for the reply. The entire driveway is that stone finish. I'm not familiar with the hardening process. Is it a product that I can purchase at one of the local big box stores?

I'm getting close to covering my garage with epoxy coat. The threshold for the garage door is a little worn as shown. Do I cover with the epoxy? Use a vinyl door threshold that is glued (construction adhesive) or finish with quikrete quick-setting cement, which can be formed and shaped?

Purchased 2 kits of tan epoxy coat from lowes. Planning on ginding to prep the floor and want to know which grinder: edco or blastrac! Thx.
