    Nut & Bolt Storage

Re: Nut & Bolt Storage The main reason I dug out the eqiupto was to take some weight out of the round one so it could spin again. I'm this close to just chucking my random collection of someone elses home made L brackets and non functioning water valves. Neat, I guess I'll get to measuring

    Nut & Bolt Storage

Re: Nut & Bolt Storage An equipto I dug out of storage. Whoever put it in crushed the bottom picking it up fully loaded with a forklift. I wish I could find some spare drawers. Heck I wish I could find another one just like it.

    losser's wepper's

Lost or stolen. The bead breaker for my old manual hunter tire changer. It was always kept up against a very low chain link fence... There are so many things I wouldn't have missed worth the same in scrap, but it hat to be that.

Let's see your Soldering Irons or guns!

The ole therm-o-trac 1002. I was given two that didn't work for my birthday back in high school by a guy who used to frequent Hughes auctions. One was completely beat up on the outside and the other would start to melt the tip if you left it on (that piece of tape says, "overheats" on it). I...

Items you upgraded after realizing how much you used them

Portable band saw. I bought the HF model to use for about a month and ended up using it for a year and a half. It never broke, but I was tired of putting on ear plugs every time I wanted to make a cut because of the sound the gears made. I also wanted something I could mount in a stand...

    hate this site

I asked about redundant sockets and while they didn't say it explicitly I think the silver lining suggested that I get a bigger or possibly another tool box.

how many sets of sockets do you have?

Just wondering. Is it really worth while to have the same sockets in 6 and 12 point? About 8 years ago I bought the large Craftsman 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 inch set that was only available if your ordered it direct. I stuck the 6 point normal and deep socket in my portable box and put the 12 pt away...

Remline boxes, pics if you got them.

This is my grandpa's old box. Considering how many vice grips are stuffed into the bottom drawer it works very smoothly for a non roller box. I think it moved with him from his house to two different shops he ran and he still comes by my place to use it once in a while today.

    Welding Guidance...I Need Some

I think you may be able to get to 3/16 in one pass, but 1/4 is pushing it for my 175 +. Perhaps they were talking about running it with flux core instead of solid wire and gas.

Is there source for custom regulator diaphragms?

I didn't mention that the model number is a Binks E-75, any leads on this would be very helpful.

Is there source for custom regulator diaphragms?

I want to restore the binks filter/dryer/regulator my grandpa had, but I can't find a diaphragm for it. I called binks once and they gave me the numbers of some of their old parts dealers but no dice. I also spent some time looking at generic diaphragms in catalogs but none of them looked like...

    lets see your welders

I have some newer small mig machines, but the one I have that my grandpa bought used in the 60's is my favorite. It probably already had lived a full life when he bought it and it still works quite well, or it seems to when he comes by to use it. I did stick some new leeds on it and put a...
