I just had mice destroy part of my wiring harness in my 2012 Tundra. They ate through the harness to a fuel injector. My CEL came on, had a misfire and the truck was saying it was in 4LO. Got the harness fixed and it was good to go.
Ok so here's my situation...
I have a basement room that I am turning into a woodshop. When I bought the house it had a laundry room in front of it. The basement room used to be a garage and the walkout door was changed to a single man door. When I redid the laundry I leveled the floor about 2...
Re: Table-Saw Trouble: Let's Be Safe In 2016
I read the first post and skipped ahead. I have decided that when I make my basement wood shop it will be built around a saw stop. I have been in a machine shop all my life and I still fear table saws.
It was very interesting to read all the posts and I am happy I posted this. I am still leaning towards a basement wood shop. Hopefully I get this going sooner rather then later.
I like the idea how the garage is separate but I do worry that I won't be able to get anything of decent size down in one piece.
I so joke a little bit about the wife and winning. She is very understanding of my excessive need to have a large amount of tools. She did say no to the forklift...

The gas line enters the room to the right at almost ceiling height. I put the t and drip leg where I dropped it down to the height where it runs around the room.
Here is my open/direct system for my home. I am running everything off of one water heater for home water and the radiant. I did everything myself which is the reason for some of the copper crossovers but it seems to be working well.
I have at least 4 pieces of 2 x3 I think metal pegboard hanging on one side of my shop. I've been trying to organize lately and since I've had it for years without getting the hang of it I am using it for rarely used tools.
On the other side of the shop I have 5 windows that provide almost no...
I have paid to have two roofs done. Both had issues. Both were almost the highest bidder. Both were done by companies in business for years.
Do it yourself if you can is what I've learned and follow. No one cares more about your house then you. When I help buddies all I see is problems that...
