What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Finished the assembly of my new 4 post lift. Not to bad, took about 5 hours over two days to assemble by myself. At first fire up one corner was lagging on going up like the others. A quick check revealed the cable had come off one of the pulleys. Reinstalled on the pulley and all is...

    Mr Heater Big Maxx problems

Take a piece of scotch bright and clean the flame sensor. You may have to take off the gas manifold to be able to squeeze your hand in. I have to do that 1-2 times each heating season on the one in my wifes shop. Have not had to do it on the one in the garage.

Direct Lift Pro Park 9 Plus Installed

What did the installer charge you??? Plan to get a lift within the next 6 months and have been debating on spending a week doing it myself or paying someone to do it in half a day.

Blowing in attic, how bad of a job is it?

Same here. Had my shop done a couple weeks ago. Cost was about the same for them to blow in fiberglass as it would have been for me to blow in celullose. They had it done in 1 hour. I would have fought it all day for no savings.

    thermostat cutoff switch

Im thinking just a lever micro switch that allows just an open or closed circut. Would it matter if the switch was rated for 125 v? Really didnt think about issues with the heater if running and the door was opened and closed.

    thermostat cutoff switch

Just completed the install of my enerco unit heater. Now im worried that a garage door will be left open by the family when im not around. The thermostat is a 24 volt unit. Im thinking some type of switch on each door that will only allow the heater to run when the doors are down. Anybody...

I couldnt access the mounting screw it appears to be mounted from the back side. However, after removing the gas manifold i was able To squeeze my hand in far enough to clean the sensor with a piece of steel wool. Were back in action again. Thanks for the help. :rocker:

I guess it depends on how it mounted. My access panel is on the left side. I can see where its at i just cant seem to get To it without removing the Front panel and that would mean pulling it off the Ceiling. For some reason they secure the sensor from the non access Side.
