Proto 3/4 drives come up on ebay fairly often. Picked mine up for $30 and my regular dealer gave me a free rebuild kit.

You gotta use the corrugated ones if you can. They don't ever slip down into the bore with the piston.

Seem to be doing a pretty good job of keeping the moisture out. Those of us who have done work out of a service truck seem to relate to that. My tools are all cheaper but look just the same. The sunex blow molded cases aren't exactly pelican grade.

Some Napa stores will warranty them with a Carlyle if they break. Or at least that's what the Napa here told me when I bought a few NOS Napa pro tools from them.

They call those jacks widow makers for a reason. Heard my share of stories of people getting killed or turned into vegetables by those handles.
