My Back on guide board
Tonight I wanted to post my solution to backing onto my Bendpak MD-6XP without having someone help guide me. I went to Lowe's and purchased a 2 foot by 4 foot piece of thin birch plywood. I then started marking off marks at 10 inches, 12 inches, through 20 inches in 2...
Nice seat but that would not work for me based on the picture. When I go under the vehicle I just cannot stand to keep my neck bent over in a hunched position. My seal allows me full access without the neck aches I had with taller seats.
The hardest part of shortening these was having to mill down the pipe that fits into the bottom section. I used a flapper disk and a 4.5" grinder. Just takes time and test fitting. Once you get them in then you drill a hole through each side using the stand hole as a guide. I used a metal...
I like your safety stands. I purchased a set of 1500 pound screw up stands that I had to shorten (see picture of one cut off from the bottom and one not before I cut it off attached). I had to machine it down some to go back into the base and drill out for the pin to go through.

Another thing I do with my Bendpak since it does not have the separate cable to release the lift is I added a quick connect on the hose at the pump. I then coil my hose up with a 6 inch elastic ball to hold it, Move my lift to a designated and marked area of my concrete floor open carport and...
Your welcome. I have another solution to accurately backing onto a scissor lift by yourself. I always back on because of my garage setup plus the fact the lowest and most vulnerable items under a car are usually in the front.
I posted my solution to my perfect rolling seat for my MD-6XP BendPak for a 6 foot tall person not to have to bend your neck under the car on this forum if anyone is interested.

I have a BendPak MD-6XP scissor lift and I love my lift. I had the hardest time finding a rolling seat that was correct for my 6’ tall frame body. I first bought the Harbor Freight (HF) rolling mechanics seat. It had an adjustable hydraulic cylinder like an office chair but on the lowest...
I want to share my rolling seat solution for my BendPak MD-6XP and it will not let me post my links and pictures without 5 postings first. I will have to post 5 responses to this to get there and then I will post my links and pictures. This is my first post.
