I'm having Solar and a battery installed at the shed soon. Managed to score an awesome deal from the government with a 10yr 10k interest free loan. In order to mount the battery I needed to strengthen the wall. I also wanted a mini office space for my business so I killed 2 birds by...

This is how I deal with the water coming off the new roofs. I have one of these coming off each side of the house that puts the water close to a down pipe. If any overflow was to happen it would spill out onto the driveway and not into the under cover area. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

I got the wiring sorted out for the down lights. Hooked up to a rotary dimmer switch. Turned out perfect. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Yes there's a gutter on the back of each of the new roofs. They drop the water into the gutter of the house on either side which is right near a down pipe. I've taken care of the water situation no problems there. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Yeah drainage can be a pain. I'm really happy with how it turned out in the end. Haven't had any water issues. So glad I put the driveway drain in. The kinchrome sockets are alright. Lok on I'm pretty sure is just the name of their 12 point sockets. I have a mix of siddies and kinchrome...

Today's progress was slowed by cutting and notching the big wood posts. Once that happened the beams were on pretty quickly. There's a couple of panels on and we ran out of daylight. I'll get a photo of the panels up tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

Well I'm a bit pissed, they delivered me the wrong size bolts for the beams so now I'm left with a half built patio. I'm gonna have to hit Bunnings early tomorrow morning and buy the right ones then modify them to suit. Otherwise it's looking pretty damn good. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
