    Restoring My Vintage Matco Toolbox

I just picked up a similar top/bottom box in pretty good shape but it needs some TLC on the outside. Does anyone know a rattle can paint that matches the orange-ish color as OPs box? Pic of model and color attached. Thanks

New (Old) Delta Bandsaw - Help Needed

Just placed an order for bearings, guideposts and accessories from Iturra Design. Looking to get parts by weeks end. Just an FYI, when placing my order with Louis himself and had a nice chat, as he's known to do, he informed me that he plans to retire in @5 years as his kids don't want the...

New (Old) Delta Bandsaw - Help Needed

Thanks. I've searched those sites and found some really good info. It's just that some parts don't match the parts list so it's throwing me off. I get it with the bearings, the previous owner probably measures them and found the 87504 and 6200Z are suitable replacements. I'm not concerned about...

New (Old) Delta Bandsaw - Help Needed

Thanks Ron. I've been looking on both Vintagemachinery.org and OWWM.org and it's a little bit all over the place. I've seen a lot of folks mention both Accuratebearings (and Lynn) and Iturra Design. I'll give them a try as well as Applied Industrial to see if there are matches for Timken.

New (Old) Delta Bandsaw - Help Needed

Hi all, I just picked up an old Delta bandsaw from LetGo recently for $50. The saw came with an old manual that said it was Model 890. I've looked for a serial number but can't find any. One other posting here showed a red one that looked very similar. Saw included the base stand, metal light...

    MB Century Drawer Slides

I recently picked up an old MBC tool chest for cheap and refurbished it. Straightened all the existing friction drawer slides but the lower cabinet was missing a drawer or two. Does anyone know where to get some of the friction style slides for this brand? I checked with Snap On today and their...

    MB Century tool box

Hey all, I picked up an MBC base and top cabinet at an estate sale for $65. I cleaned it all up, repainted and straightened all the friction slides but it was missing the bottom 1 or 2 drawers on the bottom of the base. Does anyone know if this had 1 or 2 drawers (there are 2 sets of doubles...

    Walker Turner Benchtop Drill Press

I've read that they chew up the pulleys, especially aluminum ones.

Thanks Outlaw. Those are pretty good also. The one I found looks a little bit closer with the protruding ball like the original, don't you think? I just hope the dimensions work out. This site is awesome! You folks are very helpful. Thanks for sharing your talents.

    Craftsman/Sears, Vise ID by Catalog

Thanks AngryBeaver! That shows them very clearly. I wonder if I can find something like that. If not, I'll just plug it with something to make it look finished. UPDATE: I need to do some measurements but this looks pretty close...

    Walker Turner Benchtop Drill Press

Thanks for the advice. I really don't have a need to remove it at this time. Maybe when I get around to restoring the DP. Good to know about the spanner wrench though, I could see the tool in my mind but didn't know the name. I'll keep my eye open for one in case I need it in the future.

    Walker Turner Benchtop Drill Press

Thanks for the help. Would you know how to get the chuck off? I don't see any set screws, only the collar above the chuck that will turn about 1/4. Looks like it needs a wrench with pins.

    Walker Turner Benchtop Drill Press
