40 gal compressor instead of 60?

Yes, it's now Piestewa Peak named after Lori Piestewa who was killed in combat in the Iraq war. Her son was in my daughter's class in grade school. Thanks for all the help guys:beer:

40 gal compressor instead of 60?

That's only if I put the compressor outside. We're in Lockett Park which is behind the Museum of N. Arizona, adjacent to Cheshire. The house goes right to the setback so my neighbors back yard is right there.

40 gal compressor instead of 60?

I could put it outside but I live at 7000' and winters can be harsh. Plus, my neighbors would bear the brunt of the noise. I may not have planned wisely with the cabinet height but I did have the electrician wire for it when I was building the house. 30amp mix wire I think so 208/230V...

40 gal compressor instead of 60?

I didn't see many horizontal options. Most of them are portable with cheesy looking wheels and are comparatively expensive. I didn't think about a 2nd tank.:dunno: Brilliant:thumbup: Thanks for the replies.

40 gal compressor instead of 60?

Sorry to start yet another compressor thread but I'm considering a 40 gal. compressor because of space constraints. There are not many options. I could go 60 gal but I will have to either raise my cabinets or remove one entirely to fit. This is my dream garage and I messed up by installing...

    Thinking about a new compressor

I was looking at the Quincy as well but for that kind of $$ I may keep looking for a two-stage. Correct me if I'm wrong but, considerably more quiet and way better for air tools.

    Bicycle storage solutions

Thanks, the IBIS is wife's Mojo. You can't see it but I restored my vintage 1991 Bridgestone MB1. That's going to go on the wall. It's too painful to ride even as a commuter so I don't ride it anymore. And for the life of me I can't figure out how I ever did.:dunno:

    Bicycle storage solutions

Well, I gave up on hanging the tandem from the ceiling and it now has floor status. My combo ski rack/bike rack came out ok though. It can hold 7 bikes and 16 pairs of skis, all off the floor so I can sweep underneath.

I'm interested in seeing a pic of your setup? Epic fail with this cheapo hoist system for lifting my Santana tandem on a 10' ceiling. http://www.sportssolutions.net/inc/sdetail/40025___up_and_away_bike_hoist/414/417 The old adage is true that you get what you pay for but the 50lb capacity is...

Excellent. I'm a researcher at NAU. It's a decent mid-tier college for sure.

Kewl beans! My place is in Lockett Park behind the Museum of N. Ariz. Drywall on my garage started this week and I'm getting two bids on an epoxy floor. At 1,150 sq. feet it's going to be a hard sell to wifey:dunno:

    Newb from Flagstaff, AZ

Hey all, I've been lurking and finally joined the forum. I've got a 1100 sq. ft garage as part of a new home I'm building. I used info gleaned from the forums to go with a Reznor heater and now I'm researching epoxy coatings. Thanks to all who regularly post. What a great site for those of...
