    Floor and Wall Questions

I'd say as far as prep for tiles if the floor is straight you shouldnt have to prep much just use good cleaner for concrete and make sure the floor is smooth. Although personanly I wouldnt go with porcelain tiles, while they would look nice, I dont think theres any possible way in a garage to...

    leaky roof fixes?

thanx for the suggestions guys, I thought of tarp, but figured it just wouldnt hold up long, plus it gets windy around here sometimes, and I wasn't sure about using the mop on stuff seems like that might be a good try. I would just go ahead and replace shingles but the leaks are so spread out...

    Combative Neighbors

I can see the points from both sides, but if it were me I would actually rather have the extra privacy of having your shop in front of my house, thats just me though, but if I had been in thier situation I wouldve worked on an agreement if I didnt want the shop in front of my house, I'm really...

    restoration versus new build thread

I tend to prefer refurbing an old one since thats what I am doing now with my pole barn, however I'm sure if there was a way I could build a new one I probably would, for me its mainly about the expenses, since I live from paycheck to paycheck, but I'll feel pretty good about myself when I get...

    Kalamazoo 2-car Jeep Garage

turned out really nice, and i like the way the garage door openings are staggered out from eachother which gives a nice small wall to hang stuff on, or like in the earlier pics a good place to set shovels and stuff. Also nice to see another michigan person on heres whos quite close to my area...

Converting a cattle barn to a shop

great shop, love the old barn look it has, nice to see there are others like me who'll take an old building and transform that into a garage/shop rather than tearing it down and building a new one.

    what to do

look at it this way, he'll get the beer and put it in the fridge, you fix his stuff, and if you need computer work or tech support you have him around, and you have a friend that you dont have to worry about losing your tools or putting them back in the wrong spots covered in grease and dirt.

    Plumbing forum

I also think it would ne a great addition to the site. My garage still has a couple drains from the old bathroom, and drain and water pipe from the kitchen when it used to be a guesthouse, would be nice to get some ideas on how to go about hooking it all back up again.
