by leaking out the shaft , I mean when the pump is going , oil is ******* out the hole that the shaft goes thru, so not being kept in the pump at all ... I don't believe this is a total loss system

there is absolutely no numbers on any part of this motor except for a serial number , the brass parts you see are devoid of all numbers ....

ok , so I have an old brunner , its posted on here elsewhere , it is leaking from the output shaft ... so I pulled it to bits and need a little info ...firstly , if you can see inside the shaft housing you will see a broken , ring ,,,, what is it ? ...in the other pics you will see the parts...

ok , so now im reaching out to you brunner experts , I have removed the pulley wheel due to leaks from output shaft , and under the flange is an acordian type tube , a large spring , and a brass? type of bearing seal thing .... any ideas on getting a nice oil tight seal on this bad boy ...will...

monkeyspanners , you are correct , taking off the bolted down bits , under those caps are little springs , one is as you see ....buggered the other is still there , so I can make or get another somewhere .......

i have posted elsewhere about my new/old compressor .... started pulling down the pump and found this under the top plate ...pump is a brunner ...this is lockwired and bolted down ? ..... the broken bits look like internal rings to hold something in ..... anyone have a parts schematic for what...
