You might notice I have guards on the floor for a third one I am restoring. I have a C-man pre-block grinder and a nice Millers Falls, but these Delta's are much heavier-duty. I love 'em!

Picked up this beauty, then another one without the pedestal! The one with the pedestal got a cleanup, but the paint is all original, and it runs very smoothly. The other one will get some love.

Just got an Ausco D-1901 today. Looks exactly like the jack at post #212. Does anyone have an idea of how old it is? Any sources for parts of seal kits? Kind of new to this, so I could use some guidance. Thanks.

That's a nice drill! I just picked one of these up too, but I've discovered there are a couple of versions of this drill. Mine only has a 1904 patent date on it, where yours looks to have both the 1904 and 1910 dates. There's a few other differences too. Heavy little beasts, aren't they...

Jim, Mine came with the round plate also. I wish mine was the 28 ton version with the "speed" feature, but I'm glad to have this one. I have the original lever/rod, and it measures 27" long and 7/8" diameter. No taper or knurling, just straight rod.

Hey James, When that 88c is mounted on that ERA, you must cut on the push, not the pull? Does the board want to come toward you when you cut it? Sean
