My Garage makeover. And it's all your fault.

This is a very thoughtful build. Outstanding!

My 22X24 Detached Garage - Alberta - Any input welcome!

Let me guess 22ft. was as wide as city ordinance allowed? Those are some mighty narrow lots. My parent's place had a 22X24 and you would gain a lot of useful elbow room by moving to a 24X24. 22ft across is okay for smaller vehicles but not so good for truck mirrors or Cutlass doors lol. Still...

My new almost dream shop 25x32

Nice build I'm have the same limitations sq ft wise except I'm told to keep the mid point of the truss at no higher than 13' above grade. I'm glad you have a lift pictured. Good job.

    Combative Neighbors

This is a somewhat difficult post. On one hand the garage itself is close to what I want to build and for what it is worth, it was done very tastefully. 1 car garage "makeover"---

Nice job on the makeover. It is simple and functional. I'll hazard a guess that this will become the wife's garage when the "shop" comes into existence. Well done!

Wow, I'm wondering how many man hours you have into this building because for the amount of work done, you would almost of had to be retired to get the time in to do this in two years. You obviously had a vision for the building because without it I think most of us would have leveled it and...

    Land ISSUES - Lawyers advise

This has been an interesting read. I thought I would add my two cents on land issues. My mothers property has never had a straight property line on her south exposure. The neighbour when he was alive built a fence about 25' into the property and then stopped it at the edge of the house. Our...
