Source for Stainless Steel 1/4 inch x 1 1/4 Pan Head Wood Screws?

These may work for you. They have slightly larger than 1/4" dia. They're for plastic but grip wood well also. Also tri-lobular so they resist backing out. https://www.mcmaster.com/99512A522/

    Motion light trouble shooting

I agree, but not for the same reason. I have my outdoor lights on all the time with a dusk to dawn switch. Same switch for 34 years also. People sneak around in dark areas and stay away from well light ones. I used to have two 500watt halogen fixtures, now I have two 30watt LEDs doing the...

    Looking for specific aluminum track

It would help to know what you intend to use it for, as the strength of the extrusion can vary quite a bit. Take a look at 80/20 for stronger shapes. Check out places like Rockler Woodworking or Woodpeckers. Google curtain track. A place called Sailrite has these I bought from them in...

    Classic Frigidaire Oven Parts

It sounds to me you already have a suitable replacement. When its powered up it should glow red getting up to temp. When it starts cycling, it may not glow as bright as it shouldn't need to be on as long. The stovetop units will do the same thing only to a lesser degree as they are supposed to...

Start to Finish Home Body and Paint Thread.

Here's something I did a few years ago. It had more rust then first thought, as well as the body damage from a tire blowout on it way to its new home. I took about 6-7 months from start to finish. Lots of new hand formed sheet metal repair panels.

    advice on large lumber purchase

Consider a 2x3. Especially if it wont be very structural. It doesn't sound like you're going to create a second floor, just dividers. The ones I gotten in the past are a lot better quality than 2x4's. At least a dollar less, too.

They grind them to identify them. Rather than engraving their name.

Help IDing poison ivy and X plant in back yard

Here's a site full of pictures to help identify the pesky plants. I have only to think about touching some and I'll get a rash. Stood in the smoke of some burning when I was six. Woke up the next morning with my eyes swollen shut. It has gotten better in the last 10-12 years. As I've learned...

    2002-2007 Ford Ranger Wheel

The worst of the situation I had was the 2 month national backorder on the size of the 2 tires I needed. Ordered them 12-23-09 and received 2-24-10. Oh, well. If anyone wants this style wheel, but needs it in silver, I can send a can of paint and clearcoat with it. A $12 value! I'm open for offers.

What did you pay for your Garage build Plans?

I hired an architect for my garage. I also had a drawing of what I envisioned. After 2 or 3 meetings, and some redesigns for room size, roof pitch and then submittal to city zoning. Meetings with city zoning people about building heigth and average eave heigth and finally getting approval, I...
