To answer that question.....it depends on the hobby. If you are running a sander, grinder or blast cabinet you most likely will need the 2 stage or listen to your compressor run non-stop.

I know that they normally put this chest and the matching top box on sale for 50% off a couple times a year. I picked up the combo for around $700 a couple years back. If your not in a hurry I would just wait for it to go on sale.
