    The RoboReel Again...

MPowered this is a quote from one of your posts. "I reorganized my tools... Moving all my old, cheap, chinese tools that I bought, 20 years ago, out onto the peg board to make room in my rolling tool cabinets for all the new Craftsman I have coming in this week... Those old tools make great...

    The RoboReel Again...

There is no sarcasm in my tone here. There has been some good points made and that is very valuable to us and our development. The success of our reel is centered around ease of use to the shop owner or someone who, over time, realizes the savings in walking a cord back and forth to its...

    The RoboReel Again...

Well Bill Elliott of NASCAR fame came into our booth while at NADA. He was blown away at our technology and instantly said he could see the savings you'd amass as a result of using the reels in the shop. He also loved the safety features and would be getting me contacts into NASCAR. This was...

I was just curious how many folks here are Snap On tool owners?

    The RoboReel Again...

In order to address the few objections you must look at use and if you want the best of a tool in your shop. The majority of our buyers are shop owners and serious car nuts who use power relentlessly. We have an air hose reel coming out very soon that looks the same way, so two orange balls...

    The RoboReel Again...

We made it "extension cord" orange at the outset because it was a recognizable color. And its Valox, not cheap plastic and stronger than ABS. We wanted to make a futuristic looking tool. We've thought of other colors and may in the future. Thanks for your input.

Yes, there are brushes inside the hose orifice that remove such debris. Thanks for asking. I will be on site for questions and demos at the Northern Green Expo in Minneapolis, Minn this week until Friday at 1 pm. I will return phone calls as I am able to during the show. Thanks. Graham

    The RoboReel Again...

Although Ryan may have thought I was pissed I really wasn't. I just wanted a fair approach to this exercise and that's all any company wants as the web and its forums can get a little unfair when a product is discussed. We spent a ton of time getting this product right and learning our market...

    The RoboReel Again...

Good morning everyone. One of the issues we've seen with any frustration with our reels is how to operate it. It's a slight learning curve and folks don't always understand that the receptacle ball end is for operating the unit. The button in the center has 3 functions. Most people take the...

    The RoboReel Again...

Thanks Ryan and I'm glad you are enjoying the reel. Most people here don't have to contend with OSHA violations or the loss of millions of dollars of capital should a fire occur. This reel system just does so much more than wind in your cord. With over 15 safety features in its favor, the...

    RoboReel

It's just my login name at the time. Sorry about that. We make everything in Mexico. Proprietary cord is manufactured in China and that is it. All assembly is overseen by us 327 miles to the south of us. Thanks for the interest.

    RoboReel

We've sold over 300 since November 1. I guess the Popular Mechanics award is helping us out. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

Thank Bronc. The reels aren't for everyone and we understand that. We just installed 10 at Custom Car Crafters here in Austin, its Richard Wood's place. He builds for Jesse James and Foose. We are finding our niche in the professional market.

RoboReel won one of the Popular Mechanics 2012 SEMA Editor's Choice awards this year. The booth was swamped everyday. We were on Outlaw Garage tonight on Discovery as the reels are installed in the Austin Speed Shop.

RoboReel Ceiling Mount Power Cord System

Yep, brand new. Took them to SEMA and became the buzz of the tool show. Won the Popular Mechanics SEMA 2012 Editor's Choice award. Costs $279 for portable, $299 for the ceiling. You will never own another reel again. The reels were also on Outlaw Garage tonight. Rich Wood, Rich Evans, West...
