Welcome Gunner, I think a few CalGuns members are on here also. So my 3rd car is part laundry room, part motorcycle shop. I am only doing the RD on the 12x12 "shop" portion to start, eventually I will do the whole garage and tie it in together. Still paying for my shed, if you saw that on CGN...

My 3 car car garage has a 2 door opening. 3rd car portion is accessed from 2 car garage. So that pattern will have 6'oclock, 90 degrees to the garage door. My Handy air lift is going on top of the race deck. Its not centered in the room, so I went with horizontal bars to balance it out. Hope...

I used 2x4s 24 oc for my 10x12 with a 8/12 pitch. Just be warned, sheeting and roofing an 8/12 on a small roof is tough. I spend a lot of time on roofs and it was sketchy for me. I built them from scratch I added a bottom chord for strength.

On a side note, most building codes require water heaters in the garage to be elevated 2' or so off the ground. Flammable vapors (gas cans, etc) are heavier than air and sink along the floor and can be set off by the pilot light.

If you dig to the back of the shelves you might be able to find the Made in USA sets. New China stock gets put in front. I have found a few things left over on the back of the shelf or hook.

I am leaning to Tuffshield, Will call and discuss it when I place my order tomorrow. Any one else with 2 cents to throw in, feel free. Its going in my motorcycle/reloading shop. A Handy lift will be placed on it.

Thanks Composite blades are for ferrous metals or concrete/masonry. Never cut aluminum with that type of blade, it will cake up the blade and can lead to catastrophic failure. For Al I use my Hitachi (wood) chop saw with a Freud carbide blade for Al.
