Race Deck - Just Placed My Order... Updated with plan and shop area.

Thanks Jorgen and Ashley

I am starting my floor project with just my 3rd car garage. Funds are a little tight, to do the whole 3 car at once. Too many other projects. I hope one day I can relax and not work on remodeling.

Here is the pattern for my motorcycle shop

Should be here in 2-3 days, I will update pics, once installed.

Synergy... What is your orientation there to the Garage door? From the left or bottom?
This is just one bay? I like the (assumption here) logical separation on the floor... will either side sport a lift?

My 3 car car garage has a 2 door opening. 3rd car portion is accessed from 2 car garage. So that pattern will have 6'oclock, 90 degrees to the garage door. My Handy air lift is going on top of the race deck. Its not centered in the room, so I went with horizontal bars to balance it out. Hope that makes sense.

This should help.

Hey Synergy,

Thanks for the invite and link to this forum. I've been contemplating doing something along these lines as well for my work area and motorcycle. Are you doing a transition or just going with the raw edge for now?

Welcome Gunner, I think a few CalGuns members are on here also.

So my 3rd car is part laundry room, part motorcycle shop. I am only doing the RD on the 12x12 "shop" portion to start, eventually I will do the whole garage and tie it in together. Still paying for my shed, if you saw that on CGN. I have 3 different remodel projects going at once.

Here is how I broke the floor plan up.

Back side of the big wall is a cabinet, fridge, washer and dryer. The cabinet and my tool chests are my separation wall.

Here is my work bench, and reloading area. The area is 12x12 and will have a Handy Air Lift

How do the racedecks feel? I used, weathertech, which is great but still curious of racedecks. :)

He has not been on the Ducati forum since August 18th 2012, and has not been on here since June 11th 2012. Hope he's alright considering he's a firefighter, medic, and motorcycle rider...

How do you like your floor? I just received a sample and was impressed. How do tire marks show up and can you turn a wheel on it without it popping up. Thanks. Karl
