No foam - I’m using fiberglass that’s 10 inches thick. I’m only getting a R-30 but it’s for a shop so I’m not worried about a higher R-value. I thought if I put the insulation support wire above and below the un-faced fiberglass insulation I can maintain the 2inch clearance for ventilation...

I agree, I don’t like the idea of not knowing about a problem until it’s too late. I will say that because I’m Albuquerque and the climate is high desert/fairly dry I don’t have as big of a worry as you being I Texas with the humidity. Thanks for the response. I like your other idea!
