Steel roofing overhang soffit - issue with gutters?

I had the exact same overhang on my metal barn. I had a gutter company come out and gave me a quote, they hang the gutter from the roof panel, not the facia. I had them install a seamless gutter 50'. I think they were called vampire hangers? Been up about a year on my barn, works well.

    Fabric shelter

I had a Cover-it(sp) Qunset hut for many years in Michigan, 12' x 40'. It is still standing to my knowledge, after maybe 25 years. I sold the place 13 years ago, but visited a couple years ago. I had it for maybe 12 years. 1" steel pipe frame, gray plastic tarp cover, zippered plastic tarp doors...

What type of wood behind eaves for gutters

I just had gutters installed on my metal building. I had a 4" roof overhang, and "regular" gutters/hangers wouldn't work. So I had a local company install 5" gutters using what they called vampire brackets. Like Zeke pictured above. The gutter hangs from the roof, and seems pretty secure.

    Igor! I need mor VOLTAGE!

I have had the exact same issue. New garage no electric yet. Tried to run my Ingersol Rand 5hp 60 Gal compressor off my old Coleman 5000w generator. Compressor started, but sounded funny and started smoking after a few seconds, then tripped the breaker on the compressor. Borrowed a 6500w Ryobi...

Love my trees, hate the Effin leaves!

When I lived in Michigan on 1-1/2 acres and a bunch of trees, every fall I would have 4-5" deep leaves on the ground in places. Mulching never worked very well with that many leaves, only made the pile smaller. Left thru winter, the mulched pile would still be there in the spring, killing the...

    Cool Roof Performance - impressive

When I had my home roof redone years ago, the roofing guy educated me on shingle colors. He said the color you select can vary, depending on how much tree shade you have. In short, the darker the color, the quicker it drys after rain. If your roof is shaded by trees, a light color will grow mold...

    HellFire Concrete Coating, Easy, Tough!

Update on my floor after a couple months. The Hellfire is holding up great after electric, insulation, & drywall installation. The parts of the floor exposed to the Sun have changed color a bit, from gray to a bit greenish. This doesn't seem to have changed the durability at all. See pictures...

    Hellfire floor coating experience

The Hellfire seems to be holding up fine thus far. I have been doing electrical, insulation, and drywall lately. Honestly the floor is so covered with drywall dust etc, I can't really see it.

    Getting/keeping the heat out

Insulate the doors, the kits are fairly cheap and easy to install. It will make a huge difference if your doors face West. Replacing the doors with insulated ones would be better, but much more money. Insulate walls and ceiling if they are not now. Install a ceiling fan, near were you work...

    Do stem walls get coating?

I recently coated my floor, and stem walls with a different product, Hellfire. I coated the stem walls, and indeed the metallic did run down the stem wall, and "puddled" in a couple places on the floor. Not really a deep puddle, just the metallic looked different. My experience may be similar to...

    Hellfire floor coating experience

Very good thus far, but haven't really done anything in the garage yet. Half of the floor is a 1-1/2 weeks old, the other half is 4 days old. Plan to start parking a car in it shortly.

    Hellfire floor coating experience

The floor is not slippery at all dry. I did not add any grit to the Hellfire, I used it straight out of the can. I haven't tried it wet, it wasn't a big concern for me, as it seldom rains here in the desert Southwest.

    Hellfire floor coating experience

There are some roller marks, if you look closely in a few spots. Overall it looks really good. There is some grit that blew in, and stuck to the floor, it was a bit windy out.
