    LOL, considering I have a welder and barely know how to use it... so I'm basically clueless on joining metal.. but my old man would braze it if given the chance (old school methods man). I'm assuming the "brazing" comment was sarcastic?

    I've got one similiar to that, only single phase and twin cylinder. About the same vintage though. Mine is a '62 I believe. It does have one pin hole that it just now accrued with in the last 6 months or so. They are tough old tanks for sure. you don't even want to see how I patched my pin...

    bowling lane wood, what have you done with it.

    I made a work bench out of mine. It has held up farely well except the outer boards always want to start coming undone from the pack. I had no idea how thick a lane was until I saw the peices in my dads garage. on a side note if anyone wants some I have some big sections left. Rob
