Hey all,
I have one of these Titan gearless ratchets in 1/4" that under higher load (nothing crazy for even 1/4" drive) it slips.

Does anybody know how to take this apart? Maybe it got some...
I've had good experiances with other Amercoat epoxy products (essentially a more straight forward 'rust' paint that was cheaper and easier to apply that POR-15, etc).
Just wondering if anybody has any first hand experiances with one of their 2 part epoxies for painting the garage floor. The...
So, considering covering my old shingles with Ondura 'composite' roofing panels from Lowes (and others). I've read a few horror stories on the net, but they all seem to be old (and the product is still on the shelves). So either they cleaned up their act and are making a better product, or the...
Good point, though I will still need two receivers (one in my truck and another in the garage which can handle both garage door and man door).
So it is possible to program a single fob to two receivers (even with cheapie stuff on ebay, ha).
Thanks
So this one is a bit of an oddball. Was looking on ebay for a cheap keyless entry setup for my truck. I see that they are darn cheap.. ~$15 for receiver and two remotes.
So I got to thinking that'd it be great to be able to open my garage door with the same cheapie remote, just get another...
Timely for me, looking for a good (great!) ratcheting crimping too for non-insulated connectors. Mostly 18g and 14g, some 12g.
Any place to find a better deal on the Snap-On? I can't seem to find any information to state that it has dies for doing non-insulated 'barrel' crimps?
Also looking...
Hey guys,
Looking at getting an air angle die grinder. Will just be used in my home shop, but if I can pick up something decent for less than $50 I'd consider it. Otherwise any reason why I should just get a $20 HF special? What about some of the stuff on ebay?
Don't mind used as long as it...
I will be using it on my floor pans (the parts that are still solid just have surface rust, heavy rust is being cut out and replaced with new metal) and have been considering it on my suspension control arms.
The floor pans will have it brushed on (and not sure the procedure I have decided for...
I too have read about Picklex20. Sounds like a great product but just too darn pricey for me. The phosphoric acid approach really seems like the way to go.
I don't see how phosphoric acid converting the rust doesn't work (per Navy research). Folks have defenitely been doing it with great...
Looking at using Behr Concrete etch (45% phosphoric acid) to treat surface rust on my Miata restortation project.
From my research/reading it works quite well. I'm just wondering about the application/removal process. Lots of folks say rinse with water.. not sure I want the mess/work and...
I was / am a bit concerned about the etching as well, it looks very 'painted on' and cheap looking, bit dissapointed about that.
Hopefully mine hold up longer than 2 weeks ;)
