Does anyone have a large safe in their garage?

I came across a safe mover on instagram a few days ago and spent a few minutes watching their videos. I would gladly pay them if it needs to go up or down stairs. As mentioned goldenrods are your friend, especially if not in a climate controlled area. Another method is to drill hockey pucks...

I highly recommend this knife sharpener

Yup, a true belt sander with a removeable flat platen would be the best way to go, but the Worksharp allows the blade to bow the belt. The Worksharp literature says the convex is intentional.

I highly recommend this knife sharpener

I have the Ken Onion version. Used it a few time and while it definitely put an edge on everything I ran through it, I'm not too fond of the convex grind. I found the convex really diminished the ability of the knife to scrape (think wood or magnesium shavings to start a fire), though the edge...

    spare/leftover nuts/bolts?

I was looking for some of those about 3 weeks ago; sold out locally, sold out withing 50 miles, and sold out online with no back order. I emailed HD and they even said they were discontinued in favor of the smaller double sided organizers. But now my store shows 17 in stock. Time to stock up.

    Any stand-alone transmission repair stand?

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Thanks for the link, I may have to do a little shopping after the holiday finances settle down a bit. I may have gone overboard with the Home Depot special deals this year, including a few tools I don't really need, but including a free 9.0 battery were basically free...

    Rogue Supply Work Benches

Makes them modular/expandable/reconfigurable. I'm sure it's to the same standards as everything else they make, which means you could set a car on that bench and the bolted connections would hold.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

Indeed. I had to stop myself from cruising by Home Depot today like a junkie looking for a fix.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I'm looking to buy a house at the end of this year, so I decided to cut back on my gun purchases and start building a savings for all the incidentals that go along with home ownership. Having been a DeWalt guy for the last 20 years and not having much exposure to Milwaukee other than some older...

    Longtime Lurker, No Garage

Hey guys and gals, I'm Troy. Like the title says, I've been lurking for a while (May 2013, I had no idea it's been that long), and I've been without a garage for a bit longer than that. I had a decent little 2 car with some toys, but decided that jumping out of airplanes and shooting machine...
