Hey guys and gals, I'm Troy. Like the title says, I've been lurking for a while (May 2013, I had no idea it's been that long), and I've been without a garage for a bit longer than that. I had a decent little 2 car with some toys, but decided that jumping out of airplanes and shooting machine guns would be more fun than working salary (it is), so the garage and toys are gone and tools are sitting unused in storage. After almost 6 years and 3 duty stations, I'm hoping my next move at the end of 2016 will be my last and I'll be stable enough to buy a place and set up a small personal shop to do some offroad fab and gunsmithing.
GJ has been invaluable in opening my eyes to the potential that's out there; whether it's a 100 year old drill press or vice, or a run-down, unsquare shack with a dirt floor. Thanks for this awesome resource and look for my first real post coming soon in the Milwaukee Addiction thread.
