    Wilton Vise Disassembly Guide

Instead of using a long dowel and hammer to knock the dust cover out the back use a short piece of dowel. Insert it in the screw socket, put the screw back in and start turning. It will push the dust cover out nice and easy. Those dust covers can be stuck in there pretty good sometimes.

Need input on Aluminum AN wrenches.

If you work with AN fittings you should get some wrenches, but do you need that full set? I mostly use -6 and -8 so just have those two sizes. I like the ones Jegs sells with there name on them.

    socket rails keep falling

I like the CTA socket rails. They have a wider footprint and don't tip over as easy. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=cta+socket+rail&_sacat=0&_sop=3&_odkw=tonka&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313

Danaher and Lowe's no more Kobalt

I went into Lowes last night to check things out. They had sockets and ratchets marked with the yellow clearance tags. I asked the guy working the tool area what was up. He said they are making a change, but I don't know what it is, they never tell us anything. He went on to say they are...

Great Neck is gone...... for now

It would be sweet if they stocked those hooks with SK tools. But I'm betting that's not the case.

Who makes 6-point double box wrenches?

I don't know if they are available yet, but I was just looking at the SK web site. They show 6 point double box end wrenches.

    My first toolbox restoration

Just a word of caution; I would wait the 48 hours AFTER you wet sand it. Reason is the paint cures from the outside in. When you sand it you will expose paint that hasn't cured as well and if you spray right on top of it with out waiting some more time it may wrinkle again.

are these BP turbo t handles all that?

Those are rebranded VIM Products. Google them you can find them other places. http://www.vimtools.com/store/page26.html I have looked long and hard at the 1/2 drive one just haven't been able to pull the trigger on one yet.
