I am going to call the inspector tomorrow. Do they check before the building starts? I will bring the issues I have up. Also asked to meet with the concrete boss to see what the plan is to fix the problems.
So did inspection with garage builder today and slab is also 1/2 inch off square. The slab is level. The honeycombimg is bad along the outside, it doesn't look like they used a ******** at all. If the slab guys go around and fill the Honeycombs will that be structurally sound? Is the patching...
I'm not sure if the used rebar for the curb. I have the garage Builder coming by today to take a look at it. I think it looks a little worse in person then it comes off in the pictures.
Brand new slab they poured this week. It looks like they poured the outer edge afterwards. I know it was all done the same day. But I'm not sure how they did it
It dark or would take a few more pics. I would say the poor section that worries me is the 3 inch footing. Is footing covered when garage is built on top? I'm concerned about it cracking right away once they start driving nails into it.
