Would an air brush regulator/jewler's regulator work? I know those things sometimes set at .5 PSI increments. Better yet, would it be safer to not use compressed air (when testing the EVAP system), and let the smoke pump inject the smoke into the system and then actuate the LDP (leak detection...

WHOA...I have never seen one of those... I have just been lucky enough to not have to tear into a car far enough to find those :-) They look evil, where have you seen these used? The design looks like it is a permanent clamp. Are they destroyed if you had to take one off?
