Finally made the decision, and ordered my epoxy from Legacy. I'm taking my time and doing the prep as thoroughly as I can. Luckily I'm not in a rush to have to get it done, nice to be able to take my time, but I just started thinking? What's the shelf life once I get the product? I'm sure I'll have it done in the next 2-3 weeks. Ordered the stuff last week, so I figure it should be here some time this week. Would leaving it sit for a week or two cause any issues?

I just finished up my garage, I have a few suggestions if this is your first time working with epoxy.
As you mentioned take your time with the prep.
Plan out where you around going to mix and layout your supplies. May want to consider a piece protective plywood outside the garage for material.
Carefully plan your application process. This stuff has a short work time. If the spec says 35-55 minutes count on 35. I brought a kitchen timer into the garage for an audible, hurry on up.
If you have a two car garage consider splitting it into 2 sections and doing one at a time. If you have a helper they can mix the second batch 25 minutes or so into batch one.
If you went with the SD coating make sure you use a 1/8" notched squeegee and follow it up with a roller. I did not and I ended up wasting a gallon of material. This waste was two fold, I didn't use the squeegee and and was worried about not wanting to run out of material. Had there been no set time to get this accomplished, this wouldn't have happened. Or if I had used the squeegee this could have been avoided too.

Don't forget to post before, during and after pictures.
And I got my first package from Legacy over the weekend. Was kinda hoping the color chips would have been there, as my girlfriend wants to see them ( since I'm color blind). It was just there roller pads, grip, and spiked shoes. But I'm sure the chips will show up soon. I've read some have has issues with the spikes coming off, so I'll be locktiting them in.

Thanks for posting man, have a great weekend!Made more progress, was sure I would be done grinding the floor today, well all except the edges and a bit of touch up, but about 15 sq/ft from the door the grinder gave up the ghost. Oh well, it was a cheapo craftsman "professional" kinda surprised it lasted that long. I did manage to some how kill a diamabrush along the way too.

Wow! Killed is accurate, that thing is destroyed. I used 2 7in diamabrush to do 1700sq/ft. Switched out the 1st one a bit over half way through and it still looked twice as good as yours.
Finally finished grinding last night, seems to take forever when you only get an hour or two every few evenings. Not sure what kind of sealer was on the floor, but it was stout!! So I'm almost ready for primer and epoxy now, the girlfriend spent all afternoon yesterday sweeping, vacuuming, using the leaf blower, and repeating. Hopefully tonight after work the primer will go down!!

Finally progress!! After a few more hours of cleaning, I got the primer down. When I first opened the can, I was surprised how dark it was, but after 20-30 seconds of mixing the color greatly lightened. I mixed each gallon 1/2 at a time. I was a little nervous at first about the horrible roller marks, but as it dried they disappeared. Tomorrow morning I will put the epoxy and flakes down.

Got up this morning and after breakfast got to spreading epoxy!!! There were a few slightly lighter spots where the bare concrete had sucked up the majority of the primer, but nothing horrible.
Mixed one gallon at a time. Really took a while to get it mixed well, went slow with a drill and the supplied mixer. Had a little trouble at first pouring ribons of epoxy out of the bucket, it was more like puddles, now I see how a squeegee would have helped. Overall it spread very easily, and I almost could have used one gallon to cover the the entire 425sq/ft. So I started leaving it a bit thicker. The spiked shoes work well, but be careful putting them on, they are damn sharp!! About 3/4 of the way through the first gallon I had my girlfriend start mixing the second gallon up. Painted the entire floor, then spread the flakes. The girlfriend wanted them a bit heavier than I did, so, what do you expect, we went heavier. We had plenty of flakes left, so we tried full coverage on the step to make it stand out a bit (I'm a bit clumsy, and know I'd trip on it)
Hopefully by later tonight it will cure enough to topcoat

What was your chip spreading technique? It appears to be very even from the pics. The colors are not the first mix choice I would think to use, but the red chips actually look pretty good! Congrats on the nice looking install.
Thanks KDX. I just threw them up in the air and let them fly. Just kind of pinched them and made almost a snapping movement as I released them. I got one or two heavy spots in the very beginning, and a few times they were kind of clumped together as I threw them. After doing the whole floor I went back and gently sprinkled more on the light areas. I went with the red because we put a red stripe on the wall, and I'll have red dirtbike parked in there. There are grey flecks, but they almost match the floor, so kinda hard to see them.
Had to run some errands after getting the epoxy down this morning, and when I got home I was amazed at the shine once the epoxy had dried. I almost didn't want to clear coat it!!
Got the clear down this evening, well tonight being as its almost midnight. Went just as smooth as the other steps. Once again, as I started rolling, I was nervous about the roller marks, and that the clear was a milky white. But once again, as it dried I was thrilled by the results.
By far the hardest part is the prep. Glad I took my time to be thorough though.

Sorry for the late response, but thank you all, I am thrilled with how amazing it looks. I finished the floor Wednesday night, got the topcoat on about 10:30 at night. The next morning I left about 11am. It was still just a little tacky. Just got back in town and after 5 days the floor is cured and looks amazing!! Still looks wet, and you can see reflections in it. Looks so good I took my shoes off to walk on it!!
It is the Legacy HD kit for 600 sq/ft. I used their products exclusively. Primer, epoxy, flakes, and CA safe top coat.

Looks great... I. Was thinking the same thing about how good the epoxy looked uncoated... Now is that top coat like "polyurea"..
It's the California safe urethane, not sure how it compares to polyurea, I'm sure Scotty can chime in. It's a two part mix, goes on kinda milky white. The galon and a half covered my 425 sq/ft easily. Had about a quarter of it left, but had read not to go back and put it on heavier as I did with the primer and epoxy.

It's a very good WB urethane. Excellent for California regs. or for customers that do not want a heavy odor in the garage while curing.

Ordered some tile for under the bikes, I was torn, didn't want to cover the floor, but didn't want to scratch it either. There are samples under them now, ordered enough to do a 8X14 area
