New 2015 Z06 Corvette - Paint Correction & CQuartz Finest - Gilbert, Arizona

That's first class work. My Dad's going to be driving the 63 split window in the Great Race this summer. I've booked a place for them in Sedona the week after the race ends. I may have to get them to swing down and have you detail it while they're nearby. I'm sure it's going to be plenty...

    Danger from buying cheap tools

A guy on a land cruiser forum I frequent had a harbor freight jack stand fail. It damn near killed him.: http://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/the-*****-tried-to-kill-me.305105/

    Bulk pick-up night find

I figure I'll take it all apart and clean the hell out of it with some water and bleach (and replace the filters). That's what I did with a dog travel crate that one of my neighbors threw out a while back. We've used it for trips and it's been great.

    Bulk pick-up night find

I always like taking the dog for a walk on the evening before bulk pick-up in our neighborhood. My neighbors throw out plenty of really nice stuff that winds up back in my garage. So as I was out walking tonight, I scored this: It's a Dyson DC25. They run ~$340 on amazon. I don't know...

    HF 72" vs. Snap-on KRL7022

Yes. If the snapon costs $2k and the hf $1k new, then the snapon costs $1158 more to own assuming an 8% return on your money.

    3/8" Milwaukee Fuel impact Tool-Only-2654-20/ $129.99 @ home depot

If you buy the kit from Northern Tool with the 50 off coupon, you could sell the batteries and charger and come out better than $130.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

+1. I've been thinking about picking up the 3/8 fuel impact to go along with my 1/2 fuel high torque impact and I'm wondering if this might be a better match. I'll probably end up with all 3 though :dunno:

    Coffee pots

I'm certainly not an expert, but I'll throw in my 2 cents. You can brew really really world-class coffee at home for less than the cost of a new drill or tool truck ratchet. Espresso is another matter (and can quickly become tool truck box price kind of expensive) so I won't even go there...

    Coffee pots

This thread makes the coffee geek in me want to cry  I guess this is the equivalent to what would happen on a coffee forum if somebody started a "show us your garage/tools" thread. :headshake

Switching to Milwaukee... M12 Fuel vs Regular M18

If you buy one of the combo's at home depot along with another tool, you get $150 off. The $150 is split proportionally between the 2 items. So you can then return the one you don't want and you end up with a discount on the one you do want to keep. If you wanted both items, to maximize the...

    3/8" Milwaukee Fuel impact Tool-Only-2654-20/ $129.99 @ home depot

Northern Tool has the kit with 2 of the 2 amp batteries for $259. And with a $50 off $250 or more coupon, it seems like a better deal to get the kit (if you need extra batteries) with 2 batteries and a charger for $209. I don't currently have any 2 amp batteries so this will probably be the...

    m18 fuel 3/8 vs m12 fuel 3/8 impact wrenches

Correct. I've got the 2763 which is awesome but big.

    m18 fuel 3/8 vs m12 fuel 3/8 impact wrenches

Hi guys, I'm looking to pick up a smaller size impact wrench. It will be for automotive work (DIY - I try to do as much of my own work as possible). I've already got several of the m18 fuel tools: hammer drill, 1/4 impact driver, circular saw, led light and the high torque 1/2 impact wrench...

tekton or harbor freight impact sockets

FWIW, I think it's worth stepping up to the Sunex or Grey Pneumatic sets. They're not much more than the harbor freight sockets. The NAPA sets are rebranded Sunex and there are way more Napa locations than Harbor Freight locations if you ever need to get warranty service or buy a single socket...

Feit Electric T8 LED Fixtures at Costco

+1 I got one out of the box, saw there was no switch, and turned around and took it back to Costco.
