    Bosch miter saw measurement.

I have had mine since it came out and I just measured 19 inches. I love it, cuts square all day long. I put a Forrest blade on mine.

COO of Proto Ratcheting Flexhead Wrenches

The black chrome ratcheting wrenches from Proto are made in Taiwan. The chrome version is USA made. I had two complete sets of the black wrenches and would recommend them, unfortunately mine were stolen .

What is the most expensive thing you left under a hood?

A Rolex, it was my grandfather's old watch and he gave it to me. I had a 66 Mustang and ran over a bunch of party decorations someone had thrown in the street. The ribbons used on the balloons wrapped around the fan and when I went to cut them loose, I took off the watch and laid it on the air...

    ID old barn wood

It looks an awful lot like red elm to me. If it fuzzes up when working it, that is a good indicator of elm wood.

My key set came in the mail today as well. Nice little set and the note pad was a nice freebie as well.

    Snap-on in GQ magazine

It looks like the one that services the shops around here. The Cornwell dealer has a brand new truck and the Snap-On dealer drives an older one.

I'm really liking this echo chainsaw.

Echo makes a great small chainsaw. I used to carry one when I had to clear limbs for line of sight. I would buy one in a heartbeat but my 30 year old Stihl 028wb still runs like new.

    USA craftsman RP combo value?

I have seen some of the USA Craftsman wrenches go for ridiculous amounts on eBay. Try there, you may get lucky.

    Calling all vise gurus!

I figured it was way overpriced. Vises do not show up too often on CL around here and when they do, they are overpriced. I bought a new Ridgid F50 and don't really need another vise but was curious about this one since I am unfamiliar with the brand. Thanks for the help.

    Calling all vise gurus!

When it comes to vises, I don't know **** from Shinola. Is this a quality vise? Price does seem high. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/tls/3856644894.html

Look on eBay for a set of Proto flare wrenches. I got a set for $25. They are really stout.

    Porter Cable Reciprocating Saw

It is a good light duty saw, easy to hold for long periods. I had one for awhile until I needed to ugrade to a larger model. I never had any problems with mine, I just outgrew its capacity. For a DIYer it would be a great handy little recip saw to have.
