That's a great score! I misread at first and thought you got a blade guard and I was about to be real mad lol. Been looking for one for years. Belt guard, I luckily found on eBay. Good luck with the project!

I believe it was a local bidder, so at least no shipping. But yeah...lol.

I was replying to Old Radar's statement about Long C winding to an end in the 40s. I believe there were more than just hacksaws marked with the BF (Atkins era) marking, but it's hard to search for examples with the Japanese made BF stuff fouling the search results.

RTM covered it well for this particular saw, but Long C also existed well into the late 50s on a variety of items.

Either that or he tried to cut a live wire lol. I've got a set that look like that for the same reason. :shocking:

This little 20c cabinet was in awesome shape, with tools and original paperwork. I didn't expect it to go this high though 😳

I've got a different cabinet with those style drawers and it was made by Hobart. Cool finds!

I've usually heard that referred to as the geometric C, or similar. It's typically solid 1940s era. The Long C posted earlier in this thread on the sanding discs and drill attachment is a good example of the Long C that ran well into the 1950s. Are we confused yet? 😁

It's 59 dated.

Snagged this 10 drawer upper this weekend, it's missing the tote but I stole the one out of a 6 drawer I have. I've been searching for a few years for one to go on top of my 8 drawer roller so pretty happy with this find. Just needs a little maintenance and it'll be good to go. :)

A proper photo of my 60B display now that is has arrived. Should pair nicely with my other 1930s lock on display. :) Still haven't found one of those cool yellow cabinets several of y'all have though. :(

Another score. :) 1935 60B Wrench Display. Needs a little love but the graphics are pretty fantastic for being almost 90 years old.
