You definitely need a shed!! Get or build at least a 12x16. You won't regret it! And I added foam board insulation to 2 of my garage doors. That plus some great stuff foam spray and caulk and the door will be nicely insulated. Congrats on the new place!! Now you need to build a detached...

Amazing with the tubes that take the balls to the end! I have a Fisher brand pool table. It has a 3 piece slate top. I've moved it twice. On my table the balls run down tracks on either side. It's a very simple ball return system compared to that brunswick one!!

I have a 1982 Baldwin model R and absolutely love it. Great piano, great feel and great sound! A yamaha C3 is a great one, but I didn't want to spend that much... I got a really good deal on the baldwin about 15 years ago.

I think your woodshop room is going to annoy you in that it will make the garage feel too small. If you can swing it, make your garage a little bigger. The 32' depth is good but you should make the width 32 or 36 feet. Then you could easily add an inside staircase. Thinking some more about...

My shed was pre-built but sits on a full concrete slab. What I did to keep critters out was staple wire mesh all around the base. This works. I keep a 1500 lb tractor inside. No problems with the floor strength.
