Hi, We have he problem with tire marks elsewhere on this coating but this looks very different and is in an area where tires never touch. I'm considering a topcoat of Ballistix though—does the existing poly topcoat need to be sanded for Ballistix to adhere or do I just need to clean the surface?

This garage bay is where we do a lot of cleaning of vehicles, I don't think it sees high moisture daily but definitely above average. It's also just high traffic in general since employees enter and exit via that overhead door daily. Honestly thought it was just dirt from the high traffic...

Epoxied my floors with epoxy-coat system. Vapor barrier later, base layer then poly 200. Had some bozo contractors that came in to replace overhead doors and I don't know how but a small chip occured in the flooring. Is there a good way to patch this? I was thinking of taping it off...

That's good peace of mind. There's zero beading when water is applied. Laying down an epoxy vapor barrier before the base coat as well, so I'm hoping this adds some more protection against any concrete imperfections.

How perfect does the concrete need to be to ensure a strong bond? This floor was very greasy and filthy. It was ground with an rental dual head grinder, then hand ground with a 7" angle grinder (edges and missed areas). It's been cleaned with a floor scrubber rental, degreased several...

So you epoxy over the sealant? Do you grind it down prior to coating of leave it as is?

So you recommend not filling the joint and epoxying over the joint? Just epoxy up to it and fill it later? Thanks

So I've grinded my floors and cleaned them. Looking to do the rest of the prep. I've attached a photo of where the floor meets the wall. There's this pretty nasty seam. Considering I'm going to epoxy what should I do about a seam like this? Are there specific products I should use to seal...

I am moving into a new garage with an unfinished floor. The floor has a bunch of anchor pots but I want to epoxy coat it. I was thinking of taping around the anchor pots, but the best solution would probably be to remove them since we would have zero use for them and I am worried about them...
