    Help identifying Craftsman toolbox?

Because some us of us, me in particular, own a bunch of vintage stuff and like knowing the origins and history of what we own. I'm not a Cman expert and I don't think this particular box is all that special, but I figured I'd leverage the considerable experience on this forum and see if anyone...

    Help identifying Craftsman toolbox?

Should have mentioned that I already checked the top area for date codes, and haven't found any as of yet. My '68 Wards/PowrKraft (Remline) chest had some very faint markings stamped in it so I'm used to looking for them, but I will definitely check again. I'm in the process of pulling the...

    Help identifying Craftsman toolbox?

Morning all. We moved recently, and now that I have a little extra space in my office I'm starting to get back into working on guitars and whatnot. As a result, I dug out this craftsman 4-drawer toolbox to stick my luthier-specific tools in to keep everything seperate from my main garage tool...

Craftsman 103.0103 restoration - need a hand with the decals

Sorry for the lack of response here everyone, it's been a heck of a year! I have the bandsaw nearly finished, and the decals that were reproduced for me are fantastic looking. Jeff Hughes, the owner of Forma Graphics, is the gentleman who did the work for me. He is actually the same guy who...

    New guy in Northern Nevada

Not everyone has time to regularly post. I've moderated forums in the past and have traditionally been very active, but I can't get into it as much as I used to. As for GJ, I was doing a restoration on an old 1968 Wards Powrkraft tool cabinet and needed original color references...I joined...

Craftsman 103.0103 restoration - need a hand with the decals

Yes, that's one of the images I used to help the graphics guy make the decals for me. I was surprised to learn that he found about 4 different variations of the same decal when he was looking for other images to help with scale. It would be interesting to see the time periods associated with...

Craftsman 103.0103 restoration - need a hand with the decals

Rather surprised that nobody chimed in on this one, but I was able to find a gentleman who reproduced the Craftsman logo for me in die-cut vinyl. I don't have them in-hand yet, but the digital proof he sent me was phenomenal looking. The decals are making their way to me via USPS right now...

Craftsman 103.0103 restoration - need a hand with the decals

Hey everyone. Been lurking for a while but thought I'd finally start posting a bit. I recently got an old 40s-era Craftsman 103.0103 bandsaw that I'm going to add to my restoration project queue. I have the ball bearing decals and the info plate decal, but I'm running into trouble finding the...

    Checking in from NV

Good morning all! Been lurking around here for YEARS admiring the content and the wealth of information that you've all provided here. Finally decided to post a little and become more involved. About me: in love with all things mechanical, from firearms to cars/trucks to machine tools. Big GM...
