    Miller 150s or Thermal Arc?

    Thermal arc 161s is a great unit. I ordered mine with the tig package over the holidays from cyberweld.com for $500, but now i thinks its at around $650, $770 now with the tig package. For a small portable unit i could not ask for more.

    Self taping screws into 3/16" steel

    Im looking to fasten my 5/4 mahogany decking material to my truck bed this weekend. I want to use self taping screws and countersink them so they are nice and flush. However, I am affraid that if i do not pre drill them all they will just snap on me. They would be going into 1x2x3/16" c channel...
