    Tiles of Epoxy

I used Legacy Industrial epoxy. Other than two spots where I screwed up, it's going on 8 years with no issues.

    Heavy duty oil spill mat?

If you know where it leaks, put down drip pans in those spots. If you want to cover the entire floor, put down plastic painter's drop cloth (from HD or Lowes) and cover with cheapest carpet cutoffs you can get. Haven't done it in a while but I've dived some dumpsters behind local carpet places...

How have you dealt with a purposely unlevel garage floor?

Seems like they used something near the standard .25"/ft for drainage (at 22', you should have about ~5.5" drop). If you don't like it, dig it out and re-pour. If you do that, I'd do some planning to see what else I could manage to work in (i.e., drain, in-floor electric, etc). Otherwise, I'd...

    EPOXY Regrets!!

Helped my friend put RaceDeck tiles in his garage and it looks great. Planning and accurate measurements before you order are key but it's pretty simple and it's pretty durable. I have Legacy's epoxy in both my garages and my shop and it's pretty spot on. I did the work myself, learning as I...

    2020 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

Madison, AL had the majority of the Gladiator GearWall stuff on sale/clearance. Cabinets seemed to have greatest price drops. Didn't get a pic but the 4' GearWall Panel two-packs were $47 each (normally $65+). All of the in-stock hangars and shelves were about 30% off. Unfortunately, the big...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Yup, "softening the corners" is on the list for today's festivities.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Started with a plan for a fab table which will be on wheels so I can move it out of the way or out into the driveway to minimize sawdust and stuff in the shop when I can: Thankfully, I ran out of wood screws because it gave me time to realize that if I shifted each tool by 45 degrees, it would...

Ah. That *****, Poe. Hope you're feeling better now. The last time I had one, I had lingering effects for a while (light headaches and had to make sure I didn't move my head too quickly when standing)

I'm confused. How did you get a concussion from something nearly hitting you in the head?

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I was reminded that pretty and functional are oxymorons on my first day after I moved everything back in. Dropped a screw that I finally found almost a week later. If there were an easy way to resurface it without the flake, I'd take off work the next day and do it.

how to get a red stripe?

Get more quotes. If you can't find something more reasonable from the pros, ask around the nearest universities for students looking to make some money. Provide the paint and ladders and stuff and pay them for their time. If you decide to do it yourself, paint white/gray/red in that order. I...
