Was thinking about buying this. Just read the 1-star reviews on Amazon and this is apparently a battery killer. Lots of reviews where the batteries no longer work if you leave them attached to the blower when not in use. Obvious now why this is a reduced price item. I won't be buying it.

Average rating on Amazon is 4.3 stars, which is actually pretty good. This is a$100 blower, including battery and charger, not a $400 blower, so you have to put that in perspective.

I needed a M12 3/8" ratchet so this is not a bad deal. Take the ratchet and sell the rest. 4be54ab19a448c6c83e70d96b36c7328.jpg

Thanks for the head's up on the tool set! I've got a garage full of Dewalt 20v tools but since they don't offer a cordless ratchet, the Milwaukee will be a welcomed addition to the toolbox.

Here is a good deal on a Gladiator 72 in H x 77 in W x 24 in D, 4-Shelf Welded Steel Garage Shelving Unit for $138. These things are fantastic and I have never seen it this cheap.

3 years ago I bought 12 of these for $90 roughly each + tax. They came out with a new model basically 100% same. 1 month later they dropped to $45 they let me do a return rebuy to get the lower price. I ended up buying 12 more that day.

I used them in basement, garage, and tried to flip the second 12. Even at my cost of $50 or so after taxes no one wanted them at $90-$100 price I was asking for. I was basically trying to keep 12 and sell 12 to break even or close. I think I have 4 still in the garage in box.

I found it funny since when these are a special and in the weekly add people will eat them up for the $140-$150 price. I ended having a friend wanting some and sold them for $60.

Try moving 24 of those boxes yourself. Hard enough to do 1. I'll tell you this though your best off unboxing it unless you have a Truck bed or something to slide it into.

YMMV.... This screw gun was marked down to $99.00 in my local store this morning. I had bought one "on sale" at $149 less than a month ago. The girl in customer service said she couldn't adjust the price for me, that I had to call HD.com as I had ordered it online and shipped to my home.

ETA....

Might want to check Brickseek for availability in your area before driving....

ETA #2....

I spoke with a nice young lady this morning at HD.com. Apparently the package I bought three weeks ago has one five amp battery and the one I bought this morning has two - two amp batteries and a carry bag. Same screw gun, different package set up. I heard somewhere.... If you can't choose between them.... pick both!

My local stores are absolutely swollen with the tool boxes that didn't sell during the holiday.

For those that have followed these threads for years, when have you historically seen prices drop on the tool boxes?

Do you mean toolbox and chests like Husky? Not too sure

Or like the ridgid stack/ToughSystem/Packout? These won’t drop as they are regularly stocked items not a holiday special

Same here, mine have them all shoved off into a section near tool rental. I’m wondering if they built too many floor models, or if they didn’t sell well at all.

A pretty stark difference from Harbor Freight!

I'm hoping the tool chests go on clearance. I could really use some more storage.

Are we shopping the same store? Westport?

I think HD stocked up for better sales volume than they recieved, especially on tool storage. They didn't offer enough of a price drop to hook those that would like, but don't need a new box.

Nope, I’m in KY. Seems like a pretty big miss nationwide.
