First time van owner - help with acceptable jack points?

The Transit is also a unibody, and a heavy one at that, thus the picky jack points.

After you use a rotary hammer, you'll wonder why they even waste time making a hammer drill. Cleaner holes faster. SDS Max is for making bigger holes with bigger machines. SDS Plus tool should take all your old SDS bits.

    I'd say it's more of a subscription.

Then you may be buying cells from the wrong place. Sony VTC6, LG HG2, and Samsung 30Q are all easily had from reputable vendors for less than $6/cell. Those are the most likely cells in the M12 6Ah pack. 6 cells, for well less than $36. M18 9Ah battery is 15 cells, so less than $90, (right...

More parts to break on brushless, but fewer wear parts. The brushless is far more efficient, so more power and/or more runtime is the end result. If you don't need the runtime or power, then you probably won't wear out the brushes.

I have two of them, and never seen either one exhibit your issues. If I did, then I'd bee on the phone with 1800sawdust.

The older Rapid Charger, not the new Super Charger? Mine has never gotten more than warm and no whine charging everything up to 9.0s 150 is alarming, as the cells themselves don't like to be that warm.

Since the Milwaukee kit (2767-22) comes with the 5.0 XC battery, I don't think you're going to get anything extra from the 12.0, except a more stable platform to rest the impact on.

They don't make any HO M12 packs. LG and Samsung make 21700 cells at 3Ah.

It works surprisingly well from a tip and heat perspective, but is of a size and shape that means it is completely incapable of being used with any precision, at least by me. I hold my soldering irons like a pencil, this one has to be held like a club. I'm sure I'll hit a job somewhere and...

It'll eat, no problem, just get the right blade on there. The Hackzall is not going to eat as fast as a Super Sawzall. My only real note on it is, the short stroke builds up heat and wear in a little section of the blades, and the foot isn't adjustable, so you can plan on tossing a bunch of...

If you don't have bunch to do, I'd recommend looking at the Hooyman pole saw. They sell an 16 foot extendable model for reasonable money. I have the 10 foot model, and it cuts better than any manual saw I've used. For the half dozen times a year I use it, it's perfect.

Please hire it done, it'll be way cheaper than the hospital bill from getting knocked off a ladder by branch while holding onto a saw. The point of a pole saw is that you can reach branches from the ground.

I may have used mine a few times past max duty cycle. Don't worry there's a thermal safety in there, and the rubber bits start smelling bad. I still haven't killed it, and I'll buy another one in a heartbeat.
