I thought about doing that. Not sure what the OEM looked like .
No big deal. I was just going to move this Mac to my shop and wanted to keep it locked. Not going to stop a thief . It might keep someone from walking in a helping themselves when I am cutting my grass .
I no longer work...
I need a replacement lock assembly for my old Mac box. I could get by with just the lever. I think I bought this toolbox in 1980 . I do remember I paid $500 for it which was a lot of money back then .
From what I see online its maybe a model MB5100. I don't see any writing on the box but...
Forgot to add that his toolbox was made in the USA. The metal is very thin though and I could see how this wouldn't work very good for a pro.
Perfect for the occasional user like me.
:)
I went ahead and bought the box for $100. Its brand new with manual and papers still in the drawers. For what I plan on using it for its perfect . My working for a living in the shop days are long behind me.
I have a Mac tool box I bought when I was working in this shop. Its now at my...

I found 33 foot of new 8/3 stranded wire (NM-B ) just like I showed in earlier picture today at my shop. It was left over from...
I got everything but one buss bar and range wire. For some reason there is a delay in shipping on it and the 8/3 wire.
I didn't want to bore holes in all the floor joists so I added what I think would be a running board. I used 1 x 4's I had stored to do the running boards.
I have a 20 GFCI...
Yes, I was planning on going out the bottom of outlet. A hole is already in the floor close to my pine paneling and I am almost sure the 8/3 would go into that hole. I was thinking looking at what I posted it might be too sharp a bend for the cord and I do think your suggestion would work...
The electric range now has a surface mount outlet and that's the one I would like to install if possible ? Would what's in the picture I uploaded work using a 40 amp breaker for this Whirlpool range ? or maybe something more heavy duty ? I could go with 6/3 wire but I am thinking it would be...
