    Slide Sledge: Attachments

So, I've got a slide sledge precision hammer. Its similar to a slide hammer, but works reversed. You don't pull with it, you whack with it. The precision is the only model that doesn't advertise additional attachments(other than what comes in the kit). The heavy duty version does, however, offer...

cool ideas for under hutch lighting

So.. I'm looking to re do the lighting in my toolbox hutch, and am looking for good ideas. I've done rope lighting, cabinet lighting, etc. I'd seen a 3 lamp wireless kit with a remote switch at Wamalart, and wondered if anyone else has used it? Seems like a winner, but wondered how it would hold...

    Fender Covers

So, I've got a thing for fender covers. Used to be able to get em everywhere. They would give them away as promo's at: tool sales, vendor demonstrations, etc. So I've managed to collect quite a few over the years, but they all crack and start to come apart eventually. I've got 6 that are...

    Do you use nutdrivers?

I have a decent set of Kobalt that go to 13mm. They're the spline-drive style/universal type, with soft grips. I think they were like $12 at lowes or something cheap like that. Good luck

    Best ratcheting wrenches?

I really like the matco flex head ratcheting wrenches, but really like alden for an open ended ratcheting design. The alden open end, uses a spring loaded head and pivots. Haven't had any issues with em, and use them prob more than I should.

    Who makes em?

SWEET ********! Matco had the 1/4" shallows on the truck today! Now I just have to wait a week to get the deeps and the 1/2" dudes. I think I'm going to go ahead and order a set of the Koken in 1/4" deep SAE, and give em a whirl

    Who makes em?

I don't much care about the rounded off bolt removal, so much as multi-fastener removal ability. I can keep one rail of sockets in my work cart. Just saves space when I'm at work, and running

    Who makes em?

nice info. thanks. not necessarily needs to be impact, although they'll likely end up on one.

    Who makes em?

matco does make em. They have them in deep, and in 1/4" drive shallow and deep metric. Still like to find something similar in 1/2", though.

    Who makes em?

http://www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/SBPA7R/7-piece-3-8-sae-pro-nonslip-impact-socket/ Not quite what I was after, but thanks. These are what I'm looking for, only in deep, metric and SAE

    Who makes em?

I've got sets of matco non-slip sockets in metric and SAE. They kinda look like spline drive, but the sockets are only 6 point instead of 12. So far, they only offer these in shallow and 3/8 drive only. These things have easily replaced any other socket I may have previously used. I'm curious as...
