Thanks, The drains are just your typical 4" perforated PVC, with lots of 3/4 gravel, filtercloth and backfilled. My municipality requires an independant system for the roof water, which goes into a 3" PVC pipe. There are 3 cleanouts for the 4" pipe, and one for each the 3" and 4" where the...

These three holes are for a tubing bender stand, which slides into the holes. There is a steel "receiver", made of 3 1" id pieces of pipe, tied into the mesh in the concrete..not going anywhere

The ceiling height is 9 and a bit inches, and the attic is 7 ish feet in the centre, and will be used for light storage. I would have gone heigher but I was restricted bu the local regulations. Becasue of the hillside, I ended up being able to make it a bit taller than if it was a level lot.

the back wall acts as a retaining wall, so I needed to get an engineer to design it. It had to be 8+" thick, and LOADED with re-inforcement. It ended up adding a fair bit to the over-all cost.

Apparently the attachments end up in alphabetical order, but I guess you guys can figure out the order ;) I'll be using the shop to work on my 4x4's, and restiring my GF's VW bettle. I've had many other VW's, so I wouldnt be surpriese if several other pass through the shop. I have alot more...

I've been working on this project for around 6 months now, but I thought I'd share some pictures from the beginning to now. The shop is 27' x 31'. It's a bit unique as it's built into the hillside. The entire yard was re-sculpted...all the dirt where the shop is was moved to make a flat area...
