Harbor Freight 5HP Two Stage 60 Gallon Compressor

I am wondering if you could measure actual dimensions length and width of the Harbor Freight 60 compressor. I am trying to get one that is compact enough to fit behind a door out of the way. Thanks for the help and the review. Tim

    Why use a compressor?

just do both problem solved. At home I have a 2hp compressor and air and electric tools. I find myself using electric grinders and cutoffs more than air. I can get away with small compressor so far. I do have a 60-80 gallon 5hp in my future.

    What gasses to weld aluminium?

Straight argon here. Really clean like was said before. A stainless brush helps cleaning. If you are trying to weld real oilly stuff you almost have to bake the part to get oil out of it.

OSB inside walls & insulation questions

Mine is kinda like trbomax did it. There is foil bubble wrap insulation between the steel siding and the wood. I then put unfaced R19 in the walls and ceiling and covered it with 7/16 Osb. Works Great I would have Drywalled it but Dryway at the time was 2 times the price of OSB. Last Time...

3450 1725 rpm whats the deal

So far in the case of the small champion and Quincy's the 3450 motors don't sound like they have alot of downfalls. I can see the higher rpm being harder on the bearings.

3450 1725 rpm whats the deal

Some good compressors have the 3450 rpm motors Quincy and champion. I have heard people say to stay away from those and look for the 1725 rpm ones. What's the main problem?
