Need help with garage gable end interior framing

Why not just build your 2x4 wall flush with the inside face of the post? Forget about making the wall framing the same thickness as the posts. Structurally it's not needed, or they would have built it when the raised the posts and roof. At the ceiling, add a 2x4 to create a nailing edge...

Any designers in here. Master bath remodel questions and ideas.

We recently added a master bath in our house and combined the walk thru closet and bathroom into one space...makes the room so much bigger. - I would not choose dark colours for such a small room. The lighter the palette the bigger the room will feel. We did white vanity and cabinetry and...

Help me store my table saw!

I had the same issue in my single garage, and I just have a Bosch 4000 job site saw (with the standard fold up stand, not the more expensive gravity rise stand). The Bosch is much which smaller than your saw, so I can't run a 4x8 sheet through it safely, but it does everything else accurately...

    Titanium Frost's Single Makeover

Thank you for the interest and compliments. There are no new updates. We are doing a reno on the new house at the moment. Phase 1 (basement, complete gut and rebuild) is done. Phase 2 (main floor) is in drywall finishing right now. Phase 3 (garage) is going to be delayed for budgetary reasons...

    dubber's double

Read the whole thread tonight....great job! My single project stopped when moved this past summer and I only now have a carport...but it is a double carport with a decent driveway...Not sure if that is better or worse...We will be building a new double garage, but not for a couple of years...

    dubber's single

That's exactly what we did when we were looking for our house. We were able to eliminate a lot of listings, just from looking on street view and Google earth. As soon as we saw the one we ended up buying on Google street view, we new it was a strong candidate. The street view looked better than...

    Titanium Frost's Single Makeover

We are keeping our current place and renting it out. And yes, prices are RIDICULOUS. Thank you...having a single garage really made me think about the efficient use of the space. Everyone should try it! :)

    Titanium Frost's Single Makeover

The Titanium Frost's Single Makeover is going to become Titanium Frost's Double Build...we are moving at the end of June and will be building a new double garage, so the floor and any further updates to this garage won't be happening. I am taking all my cabinets with me, so will be painting and...

    Titanium Frost's Single Makeover

I also primed and painted the recycling station. Racedeck was kind enough to send me some samples!

    Titanium Frost's Single Makeover

Also worked on the other "long" wall. Walls were primed and painted up to the ceiling. I added a black stripe to hide the water lines. I spray painted the pipe hangers black. The drywall by the taps and hose reel was getting damaged from water splashes so I installed PVC baseboard to protect the...

    Titanium Frost's Single Makeover

I had some time over the past few weeks to work on my garage. Added the patented "Ricks Double" bottle holder. Standoffs for sprayer clearance are aluminum square tubing. Also added baseboard to finish the wall off.

    10,000psi hydraulic o-rings?

Stupid question: Is the tool rated for 10,000psi? If it is and you are getting a lot of failures (and there is no abuse to the tool), I would look in other areas for the cause of the failures. If parts are worn and the clearances have opened up, or the surfaces are marred or galled, the o-rings...

    10,000psi hydraulic o-rings?

A back-up ring would be highly recommended if you are using standard o-rings.

    10,000psi hydraulic o-rings?

http://www.simritna.ca/catalog/fluidpower/specsheets/9251_ORing.htm What are you trying to seal? There may be better performing seals other than orings, depending on what you are trying to do.
