The first pic shows gravel leveled out to the building as I called it a wrap about 10:30 a few nights ago. I was trying to beat the coming rain so it'd drain better and not splash red mud up on the metal. And the next pic is just showing progress.

These pics show some of the grading work I had to do. The water comes off the road and it's also seeping through the ground from under the road and it leeches out into the ditch I just dug to the left of the barn. Hopefully this will control the drainage. It's just been raining so much that...

More progress. I really liked the process for the top band. 2x12s sandwiching the 6x6 and through-bolted.

I had to do some creative earth moving to direct the water flow around the build site so it would dry up. I wanted to be sure I didn't have any pumping when I laid down the rock, so I put down a soil stabilizing woven cloth on the dirt and the rock on top of that. It really worked nice.
