Now that I have figured out how I'm going to do my footings, it's time find the best place to buy a C7000 lift or "copies" of one. A quick search turned up liftswholesale for 1999.
Anyone bought one from them ?
Original garage floor in a 32yr old home and yes, it has a pretty good slope. I think it is somewhat excessive but that's the way it was made. how much thread is sticking out past the nut on your hoist ?
Just read the instructions for the C7000, it indicates to not use more than 1/8 thick shim to level when using the drop in anchors. I checked my floor and I'll need about 1/4" at one end to make the columns level.

I'll have to risk it and deal with any design change later unfortunately, just the way things are right now. I'll just leave the embedded studs out a little higher in the event I have to add another 1/2" reinforcing plate if the hole positions change that much.
