It wouldn't fit properly with the walk in door, Wouldn't fit on the other side. So i had to improvise. The other option was using the chain drive with a really short chain.
The only real problem is accessing the buttons, but it is possible.
If you can get a hold of the original invoice it still might be under warranty. Try contacting the previous owner, if not contact snap-on support and see what they will do, let them know that the battery was faulty and should not be subject to regular warranty, as it is more of of a recall, IMO.
I have a Milwaukee M18 low torque impact (around 150 ft.lbs) and a Snappy CT6855.
Once the battery gets replaced the Snappy will break some bolts off.
My dad has a couple of old air impacts that are not very good, not worth hooking up the hose.
The cordless ones are far superior to those.
