LiftMaster 8500 automatic lock.

can't get the automatic lock to fit between the rails of our garage door or on the other side.

Its too wide.

I think I can mount it above the walk in door on the curved part of the track, its not the best but better than nothing.

That's a problem.

I am looking at my LiftMaster 8500's and I'm trying to figure out where your motors are if you've got that much interference down low.

Is it possible to take a picture of the entire garage door wall from ceiling to floor and side to side?

That would help to see if there's any other place to locate the lock.
