I used a Gentec torch for several years working at a heavy equipment dealer and we never had a problem . The welders were the only people to get the victor torches . Install the safety valves on the torch and regulators for a safe setup .
The compressor was shipped from the factory with a check valve . I removed the vent for the high idle valve , I then installed a 1/8 compression fitting and connected it to the unloader with a 1/4 copper tube . I will get some better pics tonight .
I used a 5 horsepower marathon 1750 RPM motor and a two grove 8 inch pulley . I drilled and taped the original gas engine mounting plate . I was able to place the motor to allow me to use the original v belt .
I had the same problem , I had both sides adjusted with the same number of threads showing below the lock nut . I had to adjust the nut opposite the power side about 5 more threads to get both locks to engage at the same time . Hope this helps .

I bought a XRP-10 last month , the hydraulic unit was damaged in shipment . I called Summit Racing who contacted Bendpak while the freight truck was still on site , a claimed was filed and I had the new hydraulic unit with in one week . Bendpak needs to step up and support their product .
