Hi everyone
Just finished installing my XPR-10 lift. So far I love it. I just can't seem to get the cables adjusted properly. Power side always clicks in before the off side.
Probably about a 1/2". My adjustments doesn't seem to make a difference.
Lift is plumb and level.

I had the same problem , I had both sides adjusted with the same number of threads showing below the lock nut . I had to adjust the nut opposite the power side about 5 more threads to get both locks to engage at the same time . Hope this helps .

All 4 lifts in the shop I work in are that way and mine at home is too. I have tried without lasting results to get them perfect. The Rotary I use at work is installed at an angle to the garage door so you turn into it and never get the car perfectly straight so the right side always carries slightly more weight which aggravates the problem as well. I have learned to live with the double click as it goes up,just remember to get past the second click before stopping. I rarely let the lift down to the stops at work for regular use but long or heavy trucks I do and use a tall stand for stabilizing. Our Atlas at work slowly drops down over time and the cables are off far enough you can get in trouble if you dont go high enough for the second side. In theory both cylinders should react to pressure at the same time but on all the lifts I have used the side the power unit is on seems to react first. Even my little Atlas at home and the tee for the fluid is in the center of the overhead bar. Maybe its that all the lifts I use have the power unit on the right and I dont get them centered perfectly?
As long as they are close and you listen for it you will be ok .

Thanks for the replys, I guess maybe I'll just have to live with what I've got and try to keep it close.

Same issue with Challenger SA10. Finally resolved it by adjusting on non power side.
Originally thought only one side needed adjustment.
Finally got it perfect but it took some time to get it there. Now I need to tighten the cable on the lock release lever as the far side does not always pull out. Any one done that before?

From my experince with my XPR-10, I kept chasing the adjustment until I lifted a Druamax 4 door dually on it. It was really off then. I think the cables just need to be stretched once. Now after adjusting you only hear one clunk. The funny thing is, peope usualy jump and look at me with a scared look, then they realize that the clunk is part of the lift operation.
