    heres a link to a cobra being restored. it talks about sanding the body. http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/book_aoe/aoe_18.pdf heat is the enemy, even when workin on steel body panels. a DA doesnt create that much heat.

    if anything, you could salvage some parts of it ( the siding on the one side doesnt look too bad) and use it in a new structure. i worked out in tawas building condos right next to the coast guard station. the builder bought the property with the stipulation that the original coast guard...

    Detailing an engine

    one suggestion i have, is to do it when the engine and engine is cool. i put my car on the ramps and spray the underside too.

    Stiffening 2x8 floor joists

    not to sound bad or anything, but without spending some money, it would just be a band aid and need to be dealt with at some point. whats the spacing on the floor joists. ripping OSB down and using that probably wont work too good unless your plywood is as long as the span. sistering more 2 by 8...

    i havent used them, but for the price, i will stick with the 3/4" ply i had to cut into 2' by 4' pieces to get up there. $20 of ply coveres 32 square feet.

    great stuff foam to fix hollow spot

    justa noob here, but i think a polyurethane glue would be stronger after it has expanded and cured.
